GOP Sens. Ted Cruz (Texas), Ron Johnson (Wis.), James Lankford (Okla.), Steve Daines (Mont.), John Kennedy (La.), Marsha Blackburn (Tenn.) and Mike Braun (Ind.) and Sens.-elect Cynthia Lummis (Wyo.), Roger Marshall (Kan.), Bill Hagerty (Tenn.) and Tommy Tuberville (Ala.) said in a joint statement that they will vote against accepting the election results until there is a 10-day audit.

You know, I think there's a chance here that the Republican Party very well could implode before sleepy joe ever even swears in.

I can't but think trump will only increasingly fan the flames as punishment to republicans all.

Watch them fuck this GA thing up (you know they will,) and then they'll all be at each other's throats, for real.

and that could be a good thing.

^^^^your mouth to God's ear!

I really don't understand Republican Party politics anymore...

And Trump like farrrrtrrr right

"Should we modify our stances and policies to attract more minorities and fringe democrat voters?"

"are you insane"

Yeah, I think the Trump experiment may signal the end of the Republican party as we know it. We will have the Trump party and the Lincoln party, which would seem to be pretty good for the Democrats. However, this in turn could lead to the fracturing of the Democratic party as well, as the left would no longer feel they had to vote centrist to avoid the danger of another authoritarian. The Sanders wing, who were never Dems anyway, will break away and form a Progressive party, leaving the Democratic party as a centrist party, which it has been anyway since 1944.

Of course, at this hypothetical point the centrists, D and R, could come together as one centrist party and still be a force to be reckoned with. Should be interesting.

they should be called the yellow stripes party...
