Strange times in Beatle Land.
Beatles and various Wives / Girlfriends hang out with Maharishi in Rishikesh.
There is actually a Book with excellent color photographs out there, and I've looked at it in a Library but don't have a copy.
So it's Interesting to see the old footage.

About 20:57 in Faul appears to be strumming the Guitar Right-handed although it's a Lefty acoustic. Then John lights up a ciggy, looking pretty Stoned. Faul again around 27:15 pickin' right-handed.
Somewhere else I read that although there was Plenty Good Hashish, Maharishi laced it with Datura, so that's why everyone looks so Baked.
George H. appears to be the only one who looks somewhat comfortable in every shot, maybe because he was the most experienced Meditation Beatle.

That is John's Martin D28.
That is John's Martin D28. Look closely at the image, it's strung correctly being played inverted. As there were no lefty Martin d28s in the Beatles inventory according to Andy Babiuks book, it's an inverted picture. But PID conspiracies make for more fun imaginings tho!

Paul Saltzman has a new film
Paul Saltzman has a new film called 'Meeting The Beatles in India', with Mark Lewisohn, Patty Boyd, David Lynch, and others. Saltzman took many of the iconic photographs in India with the four at the ashram in '68. The film incorporates much of the footage mentioned above. Interesting stuff. Was free to stream over the holidays, but now looks like its $10.
