Dawn Wells was a famous
Dawn Wells was a famous pothead. She once sent her costar, Bob Denver, a package of weed in the mail and it got intercepted by the USPS who then set up a sting to bust Gilligan. They arrested him when he signed for the package. However, Denver kept his cool and did not rat out Mary Ann, saying instead that "some crazy fan" must have sent the contraband.
Many years later, Mary Ann got pulled over in Idaho high as a kite, with her truck filled with ganja smoke and an ashtray full of roaches. She claimed that "some hitchhikers" left it there, but the cops weren't convinced and busted her:

Apparently she was Pals with the actress that played 'Lovey Howell' and they hung out, ate Ice Cream, went naked swimming in their Pools.
That actress (Mrs. Howell) supposedly left much of her estate to Dawn Wells, so the Hollywood tabloids say.
