Pete, thinking of you the other people who have jobs there... love to you and the lovely lady.

Thanks everyone, see you on the other side.

when the sun rises, Dawne is the perfect name for that lady

will have to hang sone day -- I will provide gravy

Wish I had been there at least once, but no big deal. As MikeW said, I have no regrets of not visiting Phil's Dinner Club. Custies Galore!

I don't know doc

you never know when it's the last lap

I am  glad I went a few times in 2020 regardless of the constraints

When Phil first opened the club years ago,  I vowed to go to as many shows as I could, cuz you never do know when the last ship has sailed till afterwards  and many fine musicians and moments    And tribe and friends and PHILLIP CHAPMAN mf  LESH the bombardier

but over the years there were so many damn shows I was OK scaling back a little. And driving 3 hours RT added up as well

However many many many fine moments and hours that were glorious in the bar and park and that great room

thank you proprietor

and staff

and fans

Glad I was able to attend both shows this week. Thanks Pete and the whole TXR team for a small slice of normality the last two sbd a half months!

I got to attend one of the recent beach park shows and had a great experience feeling live music again with pumping bass and drums. It felt good. The staff at TXR has done a fabulous job keeping the events fully safe and monitored in a friendly and organized way. It will all be back and that will be a good day.

That's too bad, but it's likely for the best.

I'm glad Phil was at least able to get out and play a bit in recent times.

It's a shame they have to close - but I understand. Would have been nice to just offer music and skip the (box of) food and drink sales. Safer too, since that way masks stay on the entire time for all.

I have video uploading of Stu Allen & Mars Hotel on 11/27/2020, and P&F from 12/01/2020 and 12/03/2020. I'll post links to those in the morning.

Starting Tuesday everything in the Bay Area shuts down or is drastically curtailed under the Stay at home rules. It will be strange end to a strange year....

Wish I had been there at least once, but no big deal. As MikeW said, I have no regrets of not visiting Phil's Dinner Club. Custies Galore!<<

Mike said a lot of things.

And visited said Dinner Club.

Actually, I believe he called it a supper club.

But either way, that's not even close to what the place is.

And I'm not sure about Marin County's rules, but the venue maybe HAD to serve food to be able to open for a gathering.

Otherwise I'd imagine the food was to give the kitchen & restaurant staff some work.

And I'm not sure about Marin County's rules, but the venue maybe HAD to serve food to be able to open for a gathering.

In order to have the music the venue had to serve food which is also required for serving alcohol in Marin's COVID regime.

Was fun while it lasted.  Glad I got to visit a few times.  A rather unique venue and Nice People.

Hopefully they Open Up again,  and More Fun for everyone.

Lesh's should petition to rezone TXR  as a church and Pastor Phil and the Estimated Prophets  could give outside musical sermons...
