Screw it... Momma needed a little retail therapy and a way to escape this madness.

It's actually going to be my office and a place for the niece and nephew to stay when visiting. 2021 road trip starting to be planned!!

Awesome! Great style

Beautiful. Many happy miles and moments.

If yer trailer's a rockin' I won't bother knockin'

How cool. Drag it out west and come see some of us.

Wow!!!!  Happy getaways to you.

Bring it to WCZJ next August!!!

Thanks everyone! It's been a longtime dream of mine. When I find my phone cord I will post some interior pics.

She's been garage kept and no one has even used the bathroom or stove! It was an in-laws suite, only slept in a few times.

Nothin' would be nicer than taking a road trip round this amazing country to visit the most beautiful peeps in the world!

Viva La Zone

Beautiful!  How fun!

NOICE!  Enjoy.

I checked it out on Youtube, pretty cute. You are going to have fun with it, I'm sure. And yes, hope to see you on the West side.

Oh boy!

Nice!   But the lightning bolt is missing a few points ..  ...

2015?   Sweet.   I assume your rig can tow it?

First of all, nice to see you here on the proverbial black screen. And furthermore, Congratulations!

get your bearings checked, in fact with it sitting for so long I'd be inclined to replace them and the tires if going cross country

seen too many trailers stuck on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere

Just saw this on the net. May be some helpful hints.  https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/other/how-to-live-the-rv-life-for-cheap/... Have FUN!

Are there Bigger Windows on the other side ?

that looks like a fun memory maker.

love the retro look!

Thanks ya'll! She is pretty sweet and will gets lots of love. Since we can't really travel overseas, spending some time exploring our beautiful country will be awesome.

Damn that's nice Merri !

So jelly! Enjoy that thing!

great colors !

I can imagine Ricky and Lucille bantering in that sweet rig

Faantaastic!!

Awesome! Really nice you found a used one that's so clean.

So great it can be used as an "extra bedroom" and then hooked up to go FURTHUR!!!!!!!

Retro 50s Space Age on the outside.  Functional gypsy caravan on the inside.

Wow wow wow!!

Congrats MG, awesome score!!

I love those retro campers.

happy trails to You....

Congrats! That baby is sweet!

Weight? What will you be towing it with?

Aww, what a fabulous group of people in this thread!! I miss spending time with ya'll in the sandbox and of course, are sending love and hoping everyone is safe and healthy.

Earl, she is 2900lbs dry weight and I will be pulling her with a Toyota Tundra as of now. The Yota gas mileage sucks so I'm thinking about finding a smaller SUV, not quite sure yet. If anyone has a suggestion I would love your opinion!

I am pretty excited! If I play my cards right, instead of working in Colorado in the winter, I may be using her as a mobile office! Please send me good vibes. This virus thing has made me take stock in humanity and I'm just struggling to find my new path in life. She is my new motivation!

Thanks for the support friends!!

Wow! Incredible find MG.  I look forward to seeing it roll up a street near me(West Coast) soon.

Gorgeous!

You just transported me away from my stuck-at-home desk for a few precious minutes.

Enjoy life on the road!

How old is your Tundra, MG? Mileage? Shape?

I got a Ford F 150 P/U I'm gonna sell. Has a trailer hitch and I think a tow package. 2011 4WD automatic with 47,000 miles on it.

Nice truck but I just don't care for the size. I may downsize to a smaller truck but I need a bed at little over 6 feet long and they're hard to find. May sell it and go for a van.

Thinking about retirement in April/May and time for a trip or two or three.......

fine, fine thread here, begun by a phine, FINE woman!!!

my sister had a 1960something little orange shasta that served many times as a peaceful reprise from my family while it lived in the yard

Alex has a Tundra 8 cylinder for his pumpkins, so it should be able to handle your honey (;

you know you have a place up here when you make it...our property is adjacent to land and our sideyard may even have space

sooooooooooooo excited for you !

Merri, you have always been an inspiration for independence, kindness, and badassery

it is good to see you in 2D and have some laughs and fuck2020 venting this day

That looks like exactly what I wish I had for a cross country trip. Very nicely done

I like the Kitchen setup.  Great 3-Burner stove and fridge !! Single-axle design means less tires to maintain and less tolls over bridges and Turnpikes.

All I know is if you park it in freezing temps,  you have to put anti-freeze in the lines / tanks or make sure they are empty.

Sweet, great colors/look, enjoy!

Well said Jill. I agree.

How much are you asking for your truck, Slick?

Not sure yet. Maybe in the 17-18-19 range. Have to look and see what they go for. I've seen 'em for 15-16 K with big miles on 'em, but haven't done too much research.

It has a fiberglass shell and a carpet kit. I bought it 2 years ago but only put about 1200-1300 miles on it. Didn't get out camping as much as I thought I would.

It's gonna need tires as the ones on there are original - 9 years old. That'll be about a grand and I'll let the next owner decide what they want on there.

You know someone looking for one?
