Free JRAD Streams Oct.1/2

Forums:

I'd link, but it's running on another device.

Go to relix.com.  You'll find your way.

yes

GD archive runs on another device.

Only missed the first 30.. JRAD w/ quarantine hair, yes!

. ..so good to hear them play again...

Hipster Dude is playing well tonight.

And no disrespect to Ween Dude, he's fine & all, but he's the only one who doesn't make a real "mark" in the sound.

Still, these guys are a real good band, who keep the music sounding fresh.

Just a little rock 'n roll...

And a little bit more.

That's all I ask.

I'm with Slacker, would rather listen to Stale Jerry on archive over any stream, sure I will go see a show, but stream vs Jerry, time machine archive for me

>>would rather listen to Stale Jerry on archive over any stream

Now there is something we 100% agree on, fabes!

I'm sure there is more than that one 6

Good to see JRAD "live" again.  I'm having a few friends over to watch tonight's show.  Good stuff.

and yeah you can always watch a Jerry show from the past, which I do a lot, but what does that have to do with JRAD streaming live shows this weekend?

>>I'm sure there is more than that one 6

I'm POSITIVE you are right.

I won't wade into the Jerry v. JRAD thing, but I will say that JRAD's circular stage set-up with everybody facing each other was interesting, as were the overhead shots of the whole band; I wonder if they used a drone. It was a lively performance even though they didn't have an audience in the room.

first of all, LIVE music of any kind is welcome, i'd rather see a LIVE band over tape. The GD vs JRAD conversation is boring .

the overhead shots, as well as all the shots are PTZ  ( point / tilt / zoom ) robo cams and were defintitely interesting

If you missed it here's a replay from last night, some of it.  Starts at 3:45 with Peter Shapiro.

I didn't actually watch, since I was working.  I miss those guys.  And Ghost Light, too.

Weird accidental audio discovery:  If you put your iPad into the overturned lid of a large pan/steamer, the projected sound fills up medium-sized kitchen pretty wellsmiley

Lid is glass with a metal rim and it was sitting upside down in the pan.  Slightly tilted, with the speakers facing the lower side.  I wondered what it would sound like the other way, but it was so perfect I didn't want to mess with it.

They are ripping it tonight

Bluestnote with the awesome MacGyver move!

^ Audio only at that link,  for the low bandwidth people.

Quite a few clams tonight. They sound rusty and a bit stiff tonight.

Still, not so bad that I've turned it off while watching no-crowd post-season baseball.

(No crowds during the regular games was no real issue for me, but it's REALLY noticeable & sad in the post-season)

One thing JRAD always has going for it - the Benevento/Russo Duo is in that band, and those two are true big-leaguers who have always known how to get "outside".
