Phil’s best bomb / bomb sequence ever?

Forums:

God damn I love that shit!

Yes the dew is in contention..

I believe it depends on the particular Dew/Eyes/Other One or whatever else the bass master happens to lock in on at the moment.

No? Yes?

Can't start a list now.

LLTD?

Maples '73 has to be in there somewhere.

What a show, must have been something.

First wall of sound show Speakers swaying with the bouncing floor

that was  ok

and more

Great question, don't have an answer...  but here's 2 Other Ones to enjoy;

4-26-72 Frankfurt Germany (coming in at almost 37 minutes)

Buncha Berthas rate Honorable Mention, at least.

And, yeah, maybe Bobby gets the Assist on those.

Non-GD?

The Q/Beacon/'03: The Wheel

Not every recording does it justice; but, on the floor, it was a collective HOLY FUCK moment.

Maples being  like a 200 yard road trip  from my high school Paly ( Billy and also Ron -for a few weeks-  attended as well ) made it perhaps even more super sweet.   Another me me grandpa moment.  / oh well - had one of those JBL cabinets in my possession  for a while too (Osiris equipment)

those bomb ~~ HOLY FUCK ~~moments just make you vibrate and melt in amazement and glee...- is this real? gush and cry even?

too bad I didn't get to my e mail in time or I would be at TXR today   God I love that old fart

.... the next one.  ;)

Great pairing of multiple boomers: 5/4/81  End of Set 1, Spectrum, rescheduled from 5/3.   Bertha>Greatest.

Start of Love The One You're With 4/18/83, right after Stills starts singing.

I'm convinced that Phil's bombs from the Jack Straw at Oxford Plains in 1988 are still vibrating out there somewhere.

Also, Phil's playing the start of the soundcheck jam at Watkins Glen in 1973 surely belongs in this thread.
