That just can't be good.
The guy put out some pretty hilarious stuff, and his schtick was hard to "get" for a while. Took a royal beating from some of that old "wolfpack" crowd like a man. I've never met him, but if anybody does know him these days, I hope he's alright.

olson was literally trying to find and physically fight me when i was in colorado in 2010 at a furthur show with nick.
that same weekend we went camping and both saw each other naked as we undressed for the night.
in all seriousness, nick is one of the most generous and thoughtful dudes one could meet or call a friend. miss the guy, its been forever.

I like Nick. Haven't seen him since we were at a free Little Feat show at a Lafayette Main Street thing. I think that was the last time I saw John wood. And JJW has lost a bunch of weight and looked much healthier. Damn shame.
Nick was there when I met JR at that further shoe and he was there when I met turtle at DSO overlooking Lake Dillon. Nick was instrumental in getting people together and making zoners meet zoners. Too bad this is all in the past tense. The first time I ever met Nick was a PZ blind date at the Village Coffee Shop in Boulder for Meat Loaf Wednesday.
funny thing is there was a different time I was at the same restaurant alone, eating meat loaf, and the pay phone rings and the waitress yells "is there a Ned here?" It was Nick.
