Max Creek Stream Friday Nugs $20

Forums:

$20 to see the Kings of Psychodelic Rawk in New England. Friday 9-18 7:30 eastern  2 Full Sets Live!

49th year as a band. Scotty freakin shreds!

Sorta like the Dead, Creek takes turns singing songs. When other band members sing the songs they are cool, but when it's Scott's turn, Creek Freaks get a little extra special charge (Think of Walking Blues ending and Jerry is squirreling around before his song. It's that kind of excitement).

I would give this a shot, but two of the last three paid live streams I've tried to buy have ended up for me as mostly buffering, garbled, and otherwise interrupted. And I like what little I have heard of max creek in the past, but aside from Scott's playing in BK3 I mostly don't know jack about them.

Anybody feel free to please post up some good YouTube videos of this band

I used to see Creek a bunch in the 80s and really enjoyed their shows, but $20 seems like too much for a webcast. Maybe half of that, or half of half of that.

I like em better than WSP.

Mice try a different web browser that sometimes make a big difference

Not a stream guy but Creek, Savoy Truffle and Bob House were my go to bands in the 80's. Sadly the last time I saw Max Creek was at Great America Music Hall after I moved to SF sometime in the 90's

Looks like this webcast is a little rehearsal.

Hired them in 1979 to play Spree Day, a annual unannounced spring holiday in college. Classes were called off and everyone partied. We stacked the music committee with deadheads and they were the local Dead band. We were in Worcester.

They sound about the same. Good.

Watching David Nelson jamming with Scottie was a highlight at Camp Creek a few years back.  Been a fan of Max Creek since the early 80's, always a good time.

I dug Murawski playing with BK3 back in 2010. I think he was playing a Languedoc guitar, similar to Trey's. When I saw him with Mike Gordon Band a few years later, he was playing some green something-or-other guitar. Not sure what he plays in Max Creek. Some sort of Ibanez. A friend from Vermont turned me on to them around '91, although I never saw them live. Definitely an A-list player.

Can't seem to locate any of the serious mindfuk body jams that were KBM.  I was pretty zoned when they played the Vibes a few years back and they hit me just right. Extremes. Can't locate their set, but found this
