I've been through my share of styles in the last 6 months. Most of them seem to slip and slide while talking, which drives me nuts. I think, though, that I just found the winner: Safe Mate
These guys have full face coverage, from almost the neckline to the top of the nose, and almost to the ears. They are pretty tight and there's absolutely no slippage, even when talking. They are 2-ply cotton with PM 2.5 charcoal filters, and have an extra elastic around the head to hold on snugly. It's become my go-to.
Tbe only downside is that I have to take off my glasses to take the mask off and on, so I always have a quick N95 backup kicking around.
Whats your choice?

I just received delivery of
I just received delivery of this wool mask, and I love it -- feels great on the face: https://wuruwool.com/collections/mens-apparel/products/copy-of-merino-wo...?
I also ordered a couple of masks from http://www.earttiedye.com/ ..... as I'm trying to support Deadhead small businesses.... their t-shirts and tapestries are amazing and really well priced by West coast standards.
Of course, neither will protect from wildfire smoke, but it's a nice cover-up for those N-95 masks.

I've been wearing cloth masks
I've been wearing cloth masks made by friends or my sister for Covid. I ordered a Hot Tuna and a couple of Fur Peace Ranch masks last week so they will arrive sometime soon.
Been wearing a non-medical N95 for smoke under the cloth Covid masks when I'm out. The smoke has gotten thinner, I've blue-taped my windows and some doors, and I'm not wearing the N95's in the house anymore. I even slept in one for a few nights; sleeping in a mask sucks.

I'm honestly not worried
I'm honestly not worried about the smoke and have a feeling my great health will clean out whatever toxins have accumulated.

I'm glad for you that you are
I'm glad for you that you are not worried about the smoke, JR. I'm guessing you don't have lung or breathing issues, and perhaps the particulate levels up there weren't as dense as here. You're youngish, and it's worth protecting your airways for the future, if nothing else. The smoke here has plenty of toxic particles from houses burning up river. The less of that I breathe the better.

I wear a basic black single
I wear a basic black single-ply mask that's made of Lycra, or something like it. I have a beard, so I like a snugger fit than regular cloth masks. I got a three pack of them for about ten bucks.
I also custied up and overpaid for a tie-dye cloth mask a few months ago, but it hasn't seen much use.
