I love '78, maybe my favorite year. Plus, when I was a kid in the 90's I saw a few hockey games at the Cap Center, back when it was still called that. Good stuff, thanks for sharing!

From 79-82 I lived in Md. and saw many concerts at the Cap Centre even a few wresting matches. Met the Allman Brothers after a show there and the next night the Kinks and Alvin Lee played and met the Kinks.

As a college student between 1977 and 1982 - I saw a bunch of shows. Everyone talks about 1977 - but 1978 was a GREAT year!

I love 78 Jerry noodling.

38 Years ago today, one of my favorite early 80's first sets, and with 9/3/88, one of my favorite Crap Center shows out of 19 or 20.

Touch Of Grey

^First Touch 'O Grey.....

Also, 35 years ago today, Chula Vista, the best show of '85.

Yeah, I said it.

Going to make its own thread here soon.

^ Great show and setlist but greatest of 85 is a stretch IMO of course! I could name at least a dozen that I like the same or more..

Yes Doolittle I realize that.

Fun to think about though; so many great shows in '85.

^snob or arshole! Arshole wins on my end!

I see nothing snobbish or asshole-ness in my posts, but whatever!

I stated an opinion and so did you.

So what?

Many strong shows here...

Best show i've heard in ages. Wow! Thanks for posting.

Thank's goes to the tapers and archive.org for being still alive and playing the music for the masses! God Bless them all!!!!!

Wish the stagger lee was the good audio(maybe Bob put the kaibash on it) But irregargdless I'm a big fan of 78 Stagger Lees and Bob uses the slide then puts it down then picks it up again and Jerry lets him solo at the end. Lowell George produced Shakedown Street. I can't help to think that Bob was influenced by Lowell at this point. Nails on a chalk board Bob on slide, but here and other Stagger Lees of that era I think the Bobstar almost pulls it off
