Sitting back today and listening to all the amazing stuff Pig contributed to the Grateful Dead. There was nothing like the early raw blues stuff that he did and the legendary Lovelights. But maybe nothing more moving than "The Stranger" Two Souls in Communion.
I always thought he was a fascinating character and often wondered wha the Dead would have developed like if he hadn't gotten sick and died. With all the different books about the band I'm surprised no one has ever done a full length definitive book about him.
