Do you have any concerts that really stand out over the others? (non Grateful Dead or GD side projects).

I keep thinking of what some of the best shows were that I walked out and was really impressed. So far these come to mind from the last few years:

Circles Around The Sun (with Neal Casal)

The New Stew (Bill Withers Live at Carnegie Hall tribute)

The Record Company

Weird Al Yankovic  (I thought his band was really good at what they do).

Violent Femmes 1992?

David Byrne 1992?

Phish 6.26.94

Phish 12.31.93

Phish 10.31.94

Dweezil Zappa 9.13.19

John Prine 4.13.19

Masada 1996?

The Brand New Heavies 1997 great day on the JFK parkway

Tangerine Dream 1986 and 1988

Groove Collective ... Wetlands 1996.... Freddie Hubbard opened

I'll likely add more

Phish 10/22/16 - Alpharetta, GA

I have only seen Phish 10 or so times over the years, but this show was probably my favorite from start to finish. No Quarter was in the 2nd set. I need to dig this one out and listen tonight.

Escape From New York Tour (Ramones, Tom Tom Club, Debbie Harry)

Hot Tuna, Great Woods 1989

El Niño,

When you saw Husker Du in 1987, were they still punk or had they switched to metal?

Govt Mule is not for everyone but the Deepest End show in New Orleans back in May 2003 was a sight to behold.

^^87 was Hüsker Dü's final tour.

I saw a great show at Temple University.

It was punk but could have gotten the year wrong it might have been the 1984 show

Mar 22, 1987

Hüsker Dü at McGonigle Hall in Philadelphia, PA, USA
