My Co-Producer Don Grossinger and myself spent over an hour on the phone recording an In-Depth Interview with Peter Rowan yesterday. He was awesome! Gracious, interesting, articulate and fun to speak to. It's nice when your heroes rise to your hopes and expectations!
The day before we spoke to the great Vocalist//Producer Maria Muldaur for almost as much time, as well as Jason Crosby. All 3 were involved with a wonderful recent CD release by The Garcia Project called 'Spirit', which pays Tribute to Jerry Garcia Band's Spiritual-based Gospel style songs. It's a great album, and we will be featuring tracks from it and our conversations with these great Artists in the coming weeks on WFDU's 'Morning Dew'.

So, I just finished editing
So, I just finished editing these 3 Interviews. I think I spent 30 hours on it, because Peter Rowan, Maria Muldaur and Jason Crosby were all very generous with their time speaking to us.
As a result, we will present these Interviews and associated music in 2 Parts. The first will Air on Saturday, June 27th @ 10:00 PM (EDT) on 89.1 FM, WFDU , also streaming at http://www.wfdu.fm ~ Pt 1 will will focus almost completely on 'Spirit' the new album they all collaborated on with The Garcia Project..
Pt 2 will be Aired in the coming weeks, and delves much deep in their eclectic and varied careers.
