oh damn.  it is much more then 17.  as you can tell, the wife balances the check book

my shitty math aside, my feelings on the album still stand.  that and I am over caffeinated 

I was listening to this recently as well, and had the same thoughts.yes

I remember my Dad playin this album for me when it first came out and I should have put 2 and 2 together and understood I wasnt 30 when that shit happened

I cant blame my public school education.  calendar math is hard for us slower folk

Good call on Sweetheart Thom. The big guy would have slayed it.

Infidels sits in rarefied air. An amazing album and somewhat underrated amongst the assemblage of Bob's top works. 

The recording is pristine, warm and rich. In addition to playing tasty guitar, I believe Knopfler was also producing the album but then removed from the role before completing the record? Regardless, it does have a Dire Straits resonation to it, at least to my ears.

It's my favorite Dylan album
