Where do you see the Warfield gigs?

He's wishing them into existence.

Ohhhhh Yeah!!! So good to see that annnoucement!!

Don't count out the possibility of some park shows in August or September.

I'm just guessing, but all these mass protests could bring some clarity to the COVID thing. At this point almost all the protesters have looked to be people in their 20s, but not all (see the senior citizen flat on his back bleeding in Buffalo) and the protests/demonstrations are clearly going to continue for a while, so if there isn't a mass wave of sickness in the next couple of weeks we could start to see things opening up a bit sooner than maybe we've been expecting.

Is that wishful thinking? You bet, but things are slowly opening up here in the BA and I'm sure we're ALL hoping that goes well, and if in general we don't see a "second wave" in late June/July then maybe, hopefully, could be, a small show or two in the park (with chalk circles 6 feet apart?) before October?

I'm ready to go to a damned show!

GTTDS!!!!!

I'm ready to go to a damned show!

I hear that! I really need a show!

fingers crossed the nelson tribute to hunter gets punted to Oct as well

TXR will be opening for social distancing dining outdoors later this month. Another cautious step forward.

there won't be a second wave if we continue to ride the first wave...

Glad that I was issued a refund for the original date shortly after I purchased my ticket. I doubt the County heath department will give a large concert the green light, even in the fall. Covid is making WookieFlu look good..

floating the few ticket costs that I have outstanding with TxR is fine by me.  lots of peeps who work there have been out of work for 4 months now.  who knows what the place is doing about their salaries but having 150$ in credit with the venue is no big deal

I doubt the County heath department will give a large concert the green light,

im guessing all health departments all over the place are keeping an eye on the protests - if there is not a very significant spike all across the country soon, id hope very much to see outdoor shows make a comeback...seems like the risk is very low outdoors, and just today the WHO announced they now think asymptomatic patients spreading the virus is "very rare", as seen in this youtube video on CNBC's official youtube channel titled "DO NOT MAKE PUBLIC - JM"

Infinite realities

are infinitely real

and could be realized

There is not going to be a sold-out outdoor event at TXR in October or anytime soon, people.

"Several counties reported recent surges far greater than at any other time in the pandemic. Marin and Napa counties reported their single largest case counts last week: 105 and 29 cases for the week, respectively. Alameda and Sonoma counties also have seen their highest numbers in the past two to three weeks; Alameda reported 529 cases in the last week of May, and Sonoma County reported 109 cases a week before that."
