Try as I may to forget, "Left for dead" will always be a part of the Zoner shared experience. Funny thing is that 2 people there, myself being one of them, tried to fill in a few facts that weren't quite right to both parties stories. I've never really followed up to see how that incident affected his career.

Poked around on Google and saw that he declined to run for another term on the city council, but went on to be a high school assistant principal and he and his wife are still heavily involved in Democratic politics in Jersey City.

I didn't come along until '06, but from my take from a few archived threads that were occasionally posted is that the zone seemed mostly a Q lovefest site in those early days.

The troll zone did not really come around until after 2010 - people could be feisty-but-friendly pre-2010, but not as much as post 2010 (which is when many OG and older zoners left the Zone)
