Frost 5/10/86

Forums:

Not the GD's best year but had a few moments. I was lucky to see these 86 and 82 ones.

Things were changing so much at this time.

Just down the road Shoreline Amphitheatre was being finalized and getting ready to open a month or so later, and unbeknownst to us but not shockingly to those paying attention, these shows were staggering toward the coma.

So many things beginning, so many things fading away.

But I guess this was still a nice day in the south bay.

1986 is a year that I rarely listen to. But: This show has one of my favorite Estimated Prophet's. The hypnotic groove is perfect

Frost always had those cool backdrops

I really enjoyed being there, and the tapes were in regular rotation for a while. Fun shows.

^Well Jerry was in better shape than the last show I saw before these one;s at Irvine when he bailed in the middle of Terrapin.  Just out of the blue walked out. WTF! Does anyone know the real scoop on that? I guess it's obvious, but what the the band's excuse.
