RIP Don Shula

Legendary Miami Dolphins headcoach passed away

I'd have lost a round of Dead or Alive? on Mr. Shula.

RIP

He was a great coach, and he did it the right way.

I saw Don Shula walking with a pina colada in his hand, and his hair was perfect.

RIP Coach.

Got it done. Respect

Saw most of his success prior to the pre-agency movement.

Coached one of the greatest QB's in the history of the NFL for 13 years and never came away with a Super Bowl ring during that span.

Steakhouses are epicenters of animal murder.

RIP but let's not go overboard.

I was a Buffalo fan in the 70's and 80's, and "The Jaw" just used the Bills as his whippin' boys for some unmentionable amount of years back then.

I'm not sure what "overboard" means, but whatever one thinks of Don Shula as a head coach, he won more games than any other head coach in the history of the league. That's pretty good.

Belichick has a chance to catch him but it will take him four of five more seasons, and that's if he gets another good QB and keeps winning 10+ games a year.

Rest In Peace to one of the all time great Cleveland Browns, home town boy too.

My dad played football against Don Shula in high school.

Shula's Grand River HS succumbed to Fairport Harbor in the late 1940's.

RIP Mr. Shula.

I met him about 10 years ago at the Jimmy Valvano Cancer Foundation Golf Tourney at Pinehurst. All I could think of after I shook his hand was the look on his face after Garo Yepremian's attempt to be a quarterback. He was in a great mood and chatted with Me, my Dad and few others. I also met Meadowlark Lemon that day. RIP Don Shula.
