Wow!  That sounds great!

(((Smoke on the Water)))

Was in Montreux summer 93 for 2 weeks when the festival was happening vending stuff on the walkway along the lake helping to support our summer in Europe. Stayed at a campground on the lake. Didn't see any shows but remember Santana was playing one night. Did see Neil Young at the Paleo fest in Nyon. Was a super cool fest. Had a total Woodstock vibe and was 6 days long. Also saw Dylan at Gurten fest in Bern. We drove from fest to fest selling stuff. Spent 1 month in Holland and 2 months in Switzerland. And almost every time I wanted to buy some hash in Switzerland when I saw someone smoking it they just gave a chunk for free!

Thanks for the links, Noodler.

It's a little odd that they don't mention any Jazz artists.

Santana 1993 Montreux. The show I missed. Couldn't afford to pay that kind of money for a ticket at the time. John McLaughlin was there I guess. Looks like I missed a good one, but just being in beautiful Switzerland was awesome enough.
