I like these guys. they are curious and they strut there stuff. plus is pretty bad ass when they square off.
hate cleaning up the turkey shit tho. and they never want to shoo when I go out there to move them along. thats where the weimaraner comes in handy. what a hoot it is to watch him disperse the crowd!
We have occasional WT here on the Farm, but much more rare compared to 8-10 years ago. State or County sometimes has 'seeding' programs where they drop off a bunch out in the boonies, hoping they thrive.
I like them -- they eat tons of ticks and other bugs.
Lots of predators also "like" them. Fox, raccoon, coyote and Jersey Devil.

Haven't seen any Turkeys in a few months :(
