A giant of the racing world who won 212 of the 530 races he entered, gone at 90.
Sir Stirling Moss, British motor racing legend
Sir Stirling Moss, who has died after a long illness aged 90, was the most important British racing driver of his generation and arguably of the entire history of the post-war sport. He became a benchmark against which all others were measured, either by themselves, or by the public. “As a racer one should go for it, as fast as possible,” was his credo.
