When was your last show?

Forums:

Seems like a long time ago but we went to the Fox Theater in Boulder on March 6th. We were aware of COVID-19 but not too worried yet. One week later schools were out and it was all anyone was talking about. Now it's hard to imagine being in a crowd again.

end of january.

we had tickets for Eyelids for this upcoming friday. that was canceled.

we were going to try to see a couple Third Mind shows in may, but they didn't even announce all the dates before canceling the tour.

we had tickets lined up for the Wood Brothers in may, as well.

we were going to see Lucius Flux in June. i'm sure that's off.

hoping Bikini Kill in september & Nick Cave in october are still on.

Sold my tickets for Dweezil Zappa (March 8)

Mine was also March 6. Hole in the wall bar right over the state border. Also feels so long ago. Pretty perfect night of music:

75 Dollar Bill / Sunburned Hand of the Man (improv set feat. Dinosaur Jr.'s J. Mascis) / Weeping Bong Band (bucket/wish list local weirdos supergroup for me, they gig spontaneously at best).

Circles Around the Sun at .Ardmore Music Hall on March 6.  Also caught WSP at the Beacon in NYC on 2/28 and 3/2. (looks like I got those in just in the nick of time)  Had tix for Billy Strings on 4/10 (now tentatively rescheduled for 12/10) and DSO on 5/8, 5/9, and 5/18.  8/18 is already officially canceled by the theater and the other dates are for the Cap (I am sure Shappy is already creating fictitious reschedule dates in July so he won't have to refund any $)

I am pretty sure we won't be seeing any live shows until mid 2021 at best.....

3/4 saw steely dead. We’ve stayed home since 3/9.

My last show 7/2/1995 Deer Creek
My last show 3/7/2020 DNB Maui

March 13th in soquel  ca   At MOM Michael's on main

Freaking good show with one of the all time greats, sparsely attended   plenty of  rail  available for " chafing"

Pushing the envelope, still wearing my wristband lol.  Don't want to let go . I miss live music, but health and life are most important

Sausage/Claypool Lennon Delirium New Year's at The Warfield

Gibby Haynes at City Lights Books on 1/21

Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band capping off a week of vacationing and seeing shows in Austin. Was there the first week of March . Saw Shiny Ribs, Dale Watson,  James McMurtry, a ton of other great stuff. It was a good week.

March 7 graham nash Ithaca front row

The stand-up comedian Doug Stanhope at the Neptune Theatre in Seattle on March 7th.  He had a lot of new material about the quarantine.

The last musical performance I saw was Howlin' Rain with Headband opening at the Sunset Tavern in Ballard on December 7, 2019.

Last big show was The Rolling Stones at Century Link Field, Seattle, 8/14/2020 on a perfect full moon summer night.

Gimme Shelter

DNB CBGB's 2-29.

My calendar is full of countless canceled/postponed shows

We had taken the Covid-19 threat seriously in my family, city and state. Very thankful for that.

Be Smart & Safe VLA...

DNB 2-29-20 Kick in The Head:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPztKdNAiKQ&list=RDcPztKdNAiKQ&start_rad...

Steely Dead at Moe's Alley, Santa Cruz, March 6

Phil Lesh on March 4 in the Grate room.

The Infamous Stringdusters did an AMAZING show on Sunday, March 8th here in Salt Lake that I attended. Todd Snider on April 16th has been postponed.

DNB 2-29 20 The 11 !!

Phil, Stu, Lebo, Crosby, Amendola: 3-1-20

That was a fun one to end on.

Treeflo offered me a miracle for the Steely Dead gig on 3/5, but I was feeling fatigued and declined his generous offer. Glad I did, because I developed a nasty sore throat the next morning and had cold symptoms for the next 4 days (keepn' it to myself).

Allman reunion show at the Garden in early March. That's was probably one of the last days in the city where there was still many people on the streets of Manhattan.

Right on Johnny D, thank you for not spreading the funk.

It's been too long since we hung out.

There is definitely some catching up to do after we get the all clear sign.

Stay well phriend.

Weir at Sweetwater, Feb. 10 I think. First night.

Sat., March 7, 2020: DNB @ VFW Hall (outdoor stage, with on-site camping), Kihei, Maui

https://archive.org/details/dnb2020-03-07

Aloha... ya know, I've been thinking a lot about how fortunate we all were to experience any or all of those DNB Hawaii shows (9 shows in 14 days!), just before the world as we knew it came crashing down around us...

I love everybody I know!!

be safe, and be well

The one last summer at shoreline that I got a refund for rather than miss the first set. Last shoreline shit-show for me. Until they build a new one or learn how to get people in faster they are fired!!

March 7, ALO and Leftover Salmon at the Warfield. great show.  there were a lot fewer people in SF than normal.

Herbal Dave- did Stanhope provide any update about his special that was originally supposed to land on Netflix

but seems to have disappeared

So true fish

Big blessings

goes to show you never can tell

C'est la vie say the old folks

The actual last notes I've heard were the Scott Amendola Trio at The Make Out Room in SF on 4/2, but they played earlier than advertised so I only saw the last five minutes of their set.

The last full show I saw was Phil with Stu, Lebo, Crosby & Amendola at TxR on 4/1.

It was really good.

Richard Thompson by Request tour closer 2/8 in NYC.

He did this one, and I thought, "This should be easy to learn."  Had it down the next day.  The chorus is proving to be timely.

JGB in Eureka 2/29.  Been in lockdown ever since.  Just over 5 weeks. Had tickets for 6 canceled shows since then. Was going to be a great month or so for Music.

Tom, are you sure of your dates? Just a couple days ago?  Pretty sure TXR was closed before that.

March 12

Mudpuddle, corner store  park city resort plaza

right after we found out moe.'s three night run at the egyptian was cancelled.

skiing lasted only two more days.

What day is today?

The day before tomorrow

It all rolls into one...

r.n.-I walked in about 10 minutes after Doug had started and didn't hear him mention the Netflix special.

DSO in Eugene sometime in February.

3/14 - local Dead cover bands did a St Patrick's Day show

i miss live music... it's killing me - not really but it feels like it!

Does playing acoustic on my porch count?

(saw a street musician yesterday playing banjo)

Went to a local show for my buddy's birthday.  Got laid before the world went to shit.

2/23/2020 - Brothers of a Feather, Terminal West. Atlanta. It was packed. Fun show. I was supposed to go see The Atomic Bitchwax at the end of March, but that one did not pan out.

I'm grateful for the various couch tour opportunities.

Friday night String Cheese Incident.

Saturday night Dead and Co and Jorma.

Sunday WSP

Tuesday Phish.

I'm not watching all of it - just SCI and Jorma. Good stuff.

Caught Bobby here on 3/1 in a stupidly-packed, stand-only, 2,000 freaks, outdoor courtyard. I'm talkin' elbow-to-elbow all night.

A corona miracle for a 66 year old...

Tool at the Rose Garden Arena on 3/11.

As the band was doing their encore, the governor was announcing the first ban on mass gatherings.   It was the last show in Oregon.  They canceled the next night and it ended up being the last show of the Tool tour.
