He's got the progressive liberal faction of the Democratic Party pretty upset. They're throwing a tantrum, much like the Bernie crowd.
Might be justified, but "I'm just sitting here watching the wheels go 'round and 'round" and won't be spending too much time investigating that issue. I got COVID and the elderly to deal with.
Before I jump off this political thread, which like the others will probably turn into a shit show, I'll say I'm not so sure about Klobuchar as the VP.
But a friend mentioned the Latina governor of New Mexico as a VP choice. Checked her out a little and it doesn't sound out of the realm of possibilities.
Not sure a NM governor will help sew up the Midwest as they're hoping, but ya never know what these strategists will decide. Definitely would help with the Hispanic vote.
Ya'll have a nice and hopefully gentle and respectful discussion. Peace out and STAY SAFE!
Bernie still has a chance, and it's better now more than ever. Biden's momentum came to a halt because of COVID, and it's a level playing field again, and perhaps one that's tilting more towards Bernie, if he can capitalize on it. Once this is all done, he can paint himself as the champion of the stimulus, which could go far. I'm gathering that his people are hard at work on a strategy.
Let's say Bernie does get the nomination, who will be pick? Would he have more of a chance with someone more center?
Hillary made a big mistake last time picking ole what's his name white bread boring dude as a running mate. If Biden (assuming he is the nominee) picks Amy, he would be doing the same thing. Its hard enough to get young people out to the polls and that ticket would be as exciting as watching paint dry.
Lujan-Grisham would make a better choice. Biden has not connected with Latinos and having her on the ticket could help bridge the gap with that important voting block.
why would anyone be exited about amy? what does she even believe? what are some of her innovative policy proposals? when she speaks it just sounds like meaningless platitudes strung together by some kind of AI that only uses MSNBC clips for machine learning. aside from a vagina what is she really bringing to the table?
Klobuchar is more hot dish than white bread, but it's her salad habit that has me more concerned.
Senator Amy Klobuchar was hungry, forkless and losing patience.
An aide, joining her on a trip to South Carolina in 2008, had procured a salad for his boss while hauling their bags through an airport terminal. But once onboard, he delivered the grim news: He had fumbled the plastic eating utensils before reaching the gate, and the crew did not have any forks on such a short flight.
What happened next was typical: Ms. Klobuchar berated her aide instantly for the slip-up. What happened after that was not: She pulled a comb from her bag and began eating the salad with it, according to four people familiar with the episode.
Then she handed the comb to her staff member with a directive: Clean it.

I'd prefer Sanders/Octavio
I'd prefer Sanders/Octavio-Cortez.
With the Democratic Convention being pushed back to August today, it's still up in the air.
I guess they are pushing Klobuchar to get results in the Midwest, but she doesn't excite me, and that's already an issue for Biden.
