Just went to Ticketmaster and noticed that the Oysterhead show just got moved out a year to 2021. WTF I want my money back not a new date a year from now. Anyone know the hack to get my money back without spending an hour on the website looking for the 3pt font hidden link.

I have had about a half dozen shows postponed so far, about half with firm new dates and half TBA. I will roll with the new dates so don't have info on getting your money back. Sorry.

Lots of discussion about this
Lots of discussion on the Stones board iorr.org about this in the No Filter 2020 Tour thread. Many Europeans who bought tickets for shows here, and now don't see themselves having the financial means to catch postponed shows in North America next year if they happen. Also, some thought that the concert industry will be bankrupt and there will be no money available to provide for the infrastructure necessary for large tours. The most successful strategy for getting your money back appears to be calling your credit card company and having them go to bat for you against the ticket provider. I'm only in for about $65 for my pair of Lucky Dips for the Stones in Vancouver, so I'm going to hold.
Good to see you post, Ken. Did you ever make it to Mexico?

Yep. I am down in Baja. The frontera es cerrado, but from what I hear, it shouldn't be a problem getting back in so long as I am not running a fever. They are just trying to cut down in the spring break traffic. Much more relaxed down here and people aren't freaking out. Still, we are camping outside of town, not going to bars or restaurants, and keeping a healthy distance when talking with the locals, ex pats, and travelers we meet.

I don't know companies like PRG do most of those tours and unless they have a loan out on the equipment I can't see them going bankrupt after they lay off their employees.

You've probably already seen
You've probably already seen this, but it sounds pretty straight-forward...
"If your event was rescheduled, we are working with the event organizer to identify new dates, and we will contact you as soon as we have confirmation. At that time, if you have any questions or concerns, you’ll be able to reach out to Ticketmaster Fan Support for assistance. If your event’s organizer is offering refunds for a rescheduled event, this option will be visible under the event in your Ticketmaster account."
The promoters & TM are probably getting slammed right now, but it shouldn't be that difficult to log onto your TM account and try going through their process if the info for your show is up yet, and it sounds like it is.

They aren’t offering refunds
https://blog.ticketmaster.com/guidelines-canceled-postponed-events/
They aren’t offering refunds right now. They changed their refund policy about 3 weeks ago. What you are quoting, they aren’t currently honoring. Basically they are defaulting by saying unles the event organizer agrees to cover then they aren’t offering a refund. Formerly refunds were immediately available once rescheduled dates were announced. I have tickets to a show with new dates and can’t make it. They are gonna be bankrupt before this is over

In spite of today's gain, I
In spite of today's gain, I wouldn't expect Live Nation/Ticketmaster to be refunding any of the millions of dollars now "loaned" to them as tickets purchased to future events that won't take place. I mean, TM hasn't been about the customer for decades, why expect them to start now.
i can only hope that people WON'T go back in droves when this subsides, that people WON'T be passive about getting bent over and paying huge, unjustifiable fees and ticket prices for live entertainment events and that fees and prices will actually come down after this and yes I'm stoned.

Contact the source
Contact the source proactively. Be polite yet firm. Refunds go out to those who request before those who don't. I emailed the venues shortly after everything got canceled, and requested full refund. No reason to let some business hold on to my money for an indefinite time for an indefinite event. My cancelled shows were from small venues though, and not through The Ticket Bastards. So good luck!
I got immediate responses and timely refunds from Terrapin Crossroads for the 3/29 David Nelson Band show (75 year old band leader), and from SF Jazz for the 4/5 Benny Golson Quartet show (91 year old band leader).
Both cancellations are disappointing. Nelson and band will likely be back some time this year playing in my backyard. Golson, the legendary composer, is bucket list stuff for me, and more of a bummer. A very rare connection to the Hard Bop heyday of the 1950s! A Jazz Messenger. He is the last musician from the 1958 A Great Day In Harlem photo who is still alive and performing (Sonny Rollins is the other guy still alive, but unable to perform due to health issues). I've never seen Golson play. He lives in NY. How many more times is a guy that old going to tour the west coast and play San Francisco? I hope at least once.

I purchased "Peach Fest"
I purchased "Peach Fest" tickets and the LiveNation summer shed lawn pass for Camden NJ. No word from Peach (yet) but Camden has already cancelled a couple shows.
Have to wait and see how that works out.
For the LawnPass they will likely say "But you get three shows in August, no refund..."

This is not a viable strategy. The CC company will temporarily reverse the charge. Then they will contact TM who will explain their rules and the CC will re-charge you card.

Very generous of you, in spirit. In reality, most of the musicians who really need the income won't see 1 cent of the money until they actually perform the gigs, IF the gigs get rescheduled. By letting your money ride, you are mostly supporting The Ticket Bastards and other corporate entities, rather than working individuals and creative artists. Why not let the Ticket Bastards return their fees to you? You can then donate the refunded fee money to a charitable cause more deserving than Live Nation Inc.

^ This. I had a ticket to see Voodoo Dead in Boulder in couple weeks, they postponed it as TBD. It took a couple emails, but as you said explained politely but firmly that I'd be traveling 6-7 hours to the show and it was planned to coincide with a trip I had planned and extremely unlikely I'd make a special trip back.

Just got the notice about the King Gizzard show. Unlike with other cancelations, your ticket will not get you into the rescheduled show and I have to buy a new one (will get a refund there). Sucks, because that show sold out fast and once again I will have to be ready on my computer at the appointed time to buy my tickets.
