Any Good Skin Lotion Reccomendations?

Forums:

I've never really used any skin creams, but all of this constant hand washing is drying up the skin on the back of my hands.  They are getting wrinkly and the skin is cracking open in spots.   What should I get?

i get gold bond lotions for working with our cannabis growing medium - when its totally dry, it sucks the moisture from your hands like nobody's business. after 1 day of working with it your hands are so dry it cracks and hurts. i have the gold bond excema releif cause i got a rash a few years ago that might have been excema, it wasnt, went away, kept using the lotion for normal dry skin and it is solid.

DONT fall for the trap of the okeefes working hands. its the hard lotion sold in green tins in hardware stores - sounds like a great product, but does not work nearly as well as normal lotion and it makes your hands all greasy

I remember a similar discussion here a while back, Bag Balm was highly recommended.  Originally developed for cow udders, supposed to be excellent for dry skin.  I haven't tried it.

Thanks, I'll look for the gold bond.  I'm also getting recommendations for Shea's butter.

I use gold bond, doesn't have that greasy feeling. Bag balm is great for dry and cracked skin. Used bag balm on my dog's nose when she was sick.

With all the lotions we have kicking around, I end up using a dab of coconut oil.

Dermatologist told me creams are best. I use Cetaphil. Got a 4 Inch mini paint roller for the back. Game changer.

I make a salve, but it is expensive.
