But the TP hording is more about panic buying - folks who are afraid to leave their homes to shop when the pandemic gets really bad.
Oddly enough, dried black beans are completely sold out. As a vegan, I actually cook black bean stew regularly and had run out of beans before the panic shoppers got them all. Still some rice on the shelves but no black beans. Amazon is price gouging the black beans.

everything i bought is due to concern over public/government response and panic...im pretty healthy, live in isolation, and rarely get sick. im not really worried at all about getting sick, im worried about potential lockdown type situations or limited availability of essentials. i live over an hour from town, dont really talk to anyone or have any community ties and want to be prepared.
most of what i bought i will eat throughout the year anyway, and alot of the canned stuff i wont eat can be donated, so although i spent a bunch of money, ill save lots on groceries over the next few months even if this thing dies out and we return to normal.
aside from a lil stockpile of benzedrex inhalers i had all the drugs before so idk if that even counts. ras, 1 month? lol...as many of my older friends said would happen, right around my 30th birthday my weed consumption went down alot. i still smoke every day, just not as much. i took my stash from our crop last year and it is designed to last until june-july when our summer harvests will be coming down.
