Thing is, Steve Smith and Ross Valory were in the band before Jonathan Cain, so who the F does he think he is ousting them? Ross was an original member with Neil Schon so as far as I can see, this is all quite dubious. Are you feeling that way too?
Hopefully Randy Jackson and the little Philippino dude will chime in soon.
"The suit, which seeks more than $10 million in damages, accuses Smith and Valory of holding an "improper" shareholder and board of directors meetings last month during which they ousted Cain and Schon from leadership posts at Nightmare Productions under the "incorrect" assumption that the company held the rights to the JOURNEY name."
That pretty much sums up the ethos of corporate R&R. If you're dealing with shareholders and a board of directors, you have abrogated your right to have anything to do with rock and roll.

They're both insane. Schon is married to a reality show b-lister/white house party crasher with her then husband and Cain is married to Trumps nutjob spiritual advisor.
I saw Journey in 1978 at Soldier Field with the Stones and though I was very young I thought they rocked and the whole place rocked, They were very popular at that show.
