Nitrile or Latex ?

Which gloves to put in a pandemic infection kit ?

Settle down gravy.  Just use your earthquake kit, lol.  Everything will be just fine.

Some folks are allergic to Latex.

Maybe you should wear a pair for a few days to make sure that you're not one of them...

I prefer the nitrile when working on greasy Tractors.  They don't seem to make my hands sweaty,  and hold up better against abrasion.

I'm allergic to latex.

Gloves ? WTF you a dr ? You doing surgeries ?  How much shit you got in that kit ?

Interesting article on the situation.   Basically sounds like we'll all be getting it soon enough.

Silk base layer then

Disposable latex layer with

Heavy duty rubber top layer seems to be the conventional wisdom.

It's a system.

We currently have Tornado - like windstorm here in Jerseyland.

Not worried about some Chinese flu blowing inland...

Worried about Trees blowing over on electric lines,  or squishing the Barn.
Super Windy in central Jerseyland.

^Thought we had a tornado touch down last night.  House was rumbling for about ten seconds and the wind was  howling.

Agreed.  Let us know how it goes...

Will Duct Tape Work ?

Went with nitrile "Venom Steel" brand for all the reasons Stu and JohnnyD listed. We have a stockpile of N95 masks from recent fires.

Rethinking the four day Skull and Roses GD celebration in Ventura in one month. May be a good year for couch tours instead.

Happy one month "anniversary" to this thread. Back then, it still wasn't hard to git yer own PPE, and we laughed.

Now, good luck.
