waiting in line for food is a good thing

Why is Trump is  still attacking Biden, but not Sanders?

Former President Barack Obama is sending a cease-and-desist letter to South Carolina TV stations demanding they not air a Republican ad that misuse his words to attack his former Vice President, Joe Biden.

The Committee to Defend the President super PAC’s ad, which began airing Tuesday as part of a $250,000 ad buy, is the latest in a string of Republican efforts designed to torpedo Biden in an effort to keep him from facing President Donald Trump.

Trump attacks Biden as he knows who can beat him.

.

lining up for food is a good thing?

does anybody want to defend that?

Jav?  Pyramid?   Ken?  Timpane?   Sorry if I left out other declared Bernie partisans.

How will that shit play in TV ads in Pennsylvania, Michigan & Wisconsin (forget Ohio, that's Gym Jordan land).

The free shit army is gonna give us Emperor Trump the First and Greatest (and also Biggest Fingered).

Ignoring context is own sort of idiocy, mmmkay?

Bernie was talking about Nicaragua, here's video with context:  https://youtu.be/_6liJbu9ZCY

So Bernie was praising Nicaragua - in 1985 -  for feeding its people.

How'd that work out?

Plenty of people in our country line up for food every day in our country at food banks.

Do you have any empathy for poor and hungry humans OP?

Liddle do you think if Bernie gets elected that your local grocery store suddenly won't be able to stock their shelves? Is that what you are implying?

Because that's ridiculous

Feeding poor Nicaraguans is bad, M'kay.

How are the soup kitchen lines doing in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden these days?    Anything like the lines outside the soup kitchens and shelters in Portland?

Ken, you’re a well traveled person from what I’ve gathered.  I’m surprised you think Scandinavia is still a social democracy utopia.  The government is not taking in nearly enough money that it spits out for a variety of reasons.  Many articles out there....

I don’t know about Denmark soup kitchens but do know many Danes travel to Germany to buy everything from groceries to furniture to avoid the insane taxes.

Denmark has no minimum wage, so yea there’s that too.

Threads like these tend to remind me what a bunch of assholes people, Americans and Deadheads are in general.

>>>>>you think Scandinavia is still a social democracy utopia

Not really, but I do know that the poverty rates there are just a fraction of that in the United States, despite the fact that the US is the world's greatest economic powerhouse.

OP knocks it out of the park with this one.

Well, technically lines up an error near-slice, which his comrade Thom subsequently knocks out of the park.

Thus proving not only that quite a few Americans and Deadheads are merely assholes, but many of them are also useful idiots foiling one another.

*tips hat to Racket, m'edgelord*

Scandinavia has a population of 20 million.  Not comparable.  Los Angeles County has 10 million people alone.

All hail to capitalism, we've never been so happy.

Work 12 hrs a day, and once a month we get a bag of potatoes and a melon.

I sense a fair amount of anger and confusion in this thread.

I think we can expect more threads like this as the zoner population ages; an idle mind is the devil's workshop. hahaha

Admin, please delete this thread.

AOC is sexy as hell in that pic. That's all I have to add.

lots of trumpers in this thread.

thom.

racket.

weird steve.

good stuff guys.

racket, post a trump meme. hurry up.

>>>>Scandinavia has a population of 20 million.  Not comparable.

You are absolutely correct.  The USA is the most wealthy and powerful nation on the planet, which makes our lack of universal basic health care even more shameful.

What’s shameful is the gross mismanagement of existing taxes collected in this country.  This government can’t manage what it already collects, and we want to give them more?  Craziness.

avocado is awesome on pizza.

Racket, gross mismanagement of $ or stealing from us to fund those corporate tax breaks? I read on average,  American's pay $4k/year out of their paychecks to fund corporate subsidies.

I don’t support corporate tax breaks, but I also don’t support taxing the middle class into poverty.

w/ m4a?

it'll pay for itself and is wayyy cheaper than our current failed system.

racket hates facts.

^ True. Its amazing how much you save when you cut out the middleman (insu co's). Learned that dealing drugs in the 70's

My employer pays 100% of my health premium. I have the "platinum plan." As it's part of a larger group plan, it costs my employer around $9,000 a year. I have a $500 deductible with a $1,500 out of pocket max. It's a great plan. It sucks compared to our old plan though, which had no deductible or out of pocket max. In essence the new plan has been a $1,500 a year pay cut.

The plan is offered to my dependents under 26, unsubsidized. For my oldest daughter, it was cheaper to pick up the insurance offered through her college. My youngest, also in college, is simply on Medicare. She claims herself, doesn't make much money, and has the best healthcare of anyone in the family.

There is absolutely no reason why everyone can't be insured, and for much, much lower costs.

Heater is just another leech.  Needs the government and others to bail him out.  No self worth or pride.  What a weak, whiney little bitch.

Sad.  Shameful.

hahahaha yes, melt racket melt.

you little trumper.

Then tax the rich and the corporations dipshit.

sexist/racist memes.

what a tool.

Anger and confusion>>>>

That's like the reality for every white privileged male over 55 in America in 2020.

Like a good little libtard, Turtle throws around the word racism.

Another one that wants things handed to him....sad. Shameful.

Can’t blame him though, he’s from Jersey.

racket melting like the bitch he is. all day.
