Don't drop Dead quite yet. Who's gonna look after the 4-Runners ??
Went for MRI today, after trying yesterday.
Darn Nissan XTerra blew a radiator on the way yesterday, so Tow-Truck home.
XTerra is borrowed vehicle, but I bought the new radiator, and some rear shocks.
For perspective, my spine is much older than Nissan Xterra and has some Rust.
More miles on Spine than that vehicle.
Baba Ram Dass spoke about "embracing" your condition, I have a trick ankle from an incident at Red Rocks that I'm pretty sure I broke but never had fixed, in a kind of "deserted island" approach to healing, I figured if I was on a deserted island the ankle would kind of heal itself eventually...anyways, as I understand his approach to pain or injury, it's to embrace your injury like an old friend, so whenever my ankle gives out it's kind of like a sentimental reunion with an old friend [the injury].
What a dream I had
Pressed in organdy
Clothed in crinoline of smokey burgundy
Softer than the rain
I wandered empty streets
Down past the shop displays
I heard cathedral bells
Tripping down the alleyways
As I walked on
And when you ran to me
Your cheeks flushed with the night
We walked on frosted fields
Of juniper and lamplight
I held your hand
And when I awoke and felt you warm and near
I kissed your honey hair with my grateful tears
Oh, I love you, girl
Oh, I love you
Hang in there man. I can relate to living with pain- it can be debilitating and relentless. In many respects I'm thankful for it as it's allowed me to gain a sense of empathy I did not have before. Stay strong. I'm not familiar with your particular situation but perhaps find a support group.
