There's a lot of miles between SD and Vancouver.

LA? SF? Portland? Seattle?

^ i doubt it. The stones seem to like several off days between shows

Not predicting; just wondering why.

^ cuz of the shape they're in, they should all be dead by now not just Keith

Fucking rock n roll !

If I had the small fortune I've spent on this shit over the years,  I'd be living in Tahiti right now. It seems for my entire life, just when yer gettin ahead, another of my favorite bands go on tour, putting me Back To Zero. Gotta be the Devil's music, putting all these obstack-les in the way of my fortune. G Damm these mutherfuckers

I got some sympathy - See you June 6th !

>>>>Not predicting; just wondering why.

Because between Mick, Keith, Charlie and Ronnie they are 302 years old.

Has anyone ever bought Lucky Dips for a show? I seem to remember them being limited to 2 per buyer.

They are, 2 per buyer. Better be ready they go fast. I d and original credit card needed to pick up and be prepared to go right in. In other words U can’t go sell your other tickets cuz u got LD pit

I believe you have to access the link to Lucky Dip through the RS site - don't think it magically appears on the "regular" TM link. The Stones site takes you to a separate TM page.

I have done it 3 times. Pit twice, rafters once. Caught a pick from Keith the second show in the pit.

Not necessarily true. Last year in Seattle I picked up my LD's, got a wristband and was free to walk away and come back later for entry. In theory you have to have both ticket and wristband, but nobody looked twice at the wristband - and in fact was able to get on to the rear GA floor with it (I had stands). I even heard some got into the pit with non-pit wristbands cuz staff aren't always given the full lowdown.

That's fucking awesome guys. Couldn't imagine being up front for $40, or whatever they cost. I wouldn't want nosebleeds, but I'm aware that'd be a possibility. And yeah according to the folks on IORR the Lucky Dips are only available through the Stones site. Guess I'll buy for my group for the Louisville show on TM and try for a pair of Lucky Dips for the Nashville show separately.

I'm in for Vancouver.   Not cheap ($108 CA) for nosebleeds, but that's where I like to be at stadium shows.   Way up in the rafters with room to freek and dance.

My LD's a few years back were the absolute worst seat in the house that wasn't behind the stage. YMMV

If you get nosebleeds on Lucky Dips, just go to the customer service desk inside the stadium and say you'd like to upgrade your seats. If they balk, tell them you or your friend has vertigo and can't be up high. They will likely give you lower bowl or even field seats. I have heard this happening many times.

It's also more likely to get good LD's in a stadium than an arena. In Seattle last year, my friend got Pit, another friend got vip seats in the stands, and I got 12th row stands near the stage (although I went down to GA to dance for a few songs).

Here’s what’s worked for me in the past:buy cheap floor( ga was 150$ this time) and then pick up a pair of lucky Dips to gamble with. Your on the floor either way and may have either a seat to check out the view or you could get really lucky...

Got lucky Dips for Vancouver. $40 cad each.

Scored a pair of LD's for Vancouver.  Really looking forward to checking out the city again.  My first visit since 1985.

in for the STL show, will be 6 decades of stones shows...first was Cleveland 78

You're going to be in for a shock. A once sleepy coastal town now an overcrowded metropolis. Bring money.

Vegas giving odds on the 1st member to keel over onstage ?

Keith was the pick the last few tours, but for this one I'd say its probably 3-way even money between him, Charlie + Mick.

>>>>Really looking forward to checking out the city again.

The downtown is easily walkable and has some interesting neighborhoods.  Gastown is overrun by tourists, but the Chinatown still hosts a real living breathing Chinese community.  In fact, the whole city is sort of one big Chinatown with about half its population being Asian.  Downtown Eastside (DTES) is sketch city with blocks of junkies just laying on the sidewalk shooting up.  Worse than anything I have seen in the states.  Worth checking out for morbid curiosity.

I spent a couple days walking around Vancouver when I was up there last year for Paul McCartney and think I have seen what there is to see.  Will stay in town the night of the show, but otherwise will probably camp out in the hills outside of town.  Flew up last time thinking it would save time, but with all the fucking around in airports and customs lines, should have just drove up,

I got LDs for Louisville and Nashville. How's the process work when you go to will call and show your ID? They just randomly give you a pair or tickets in an envelope? Didn't know if it's already predetermined what you have or if you could schmooze someone at the ticket window.

They’re in an envelope with your order number already on it. My understanding is that sometimes the ticket counter folks do have some discretion here, so try and be cool. If you got floor tix, you will be escorted in a group. I think 4 wristbands total by the time we got up front.

^Awesome, thanks for the info. Going with a buddy and we might tell them we're on our honeymoon smiley

Patti Hansen posted this on Instagram on Friday.  They're looking happy and healthy, which is a good sign for this tour.  Now that Keith has quit smoking, his teeth even look decent.

Since these shows all come before June 21st, it's really a Spring Tour.
