Bummer, he could play the pedal steel fantastic. NPRS played up here  at Turkey trot and Norwich for many years. He will be missed...

I Saw NRPS in Tucson Az in a Funky small classic place with a bounce floor i was right by Buddy he would look over at me smile and Blast his Pedal Steel it was Fun.

Not a big surprise, but a sad loss all the same.


Rest in Peace, Buddy.

In my limited & fairly uneducated opinion he was the best pedal steel player ever, and certainly my favorite.

He had all the tools; he understood the instrument, he understood sound, he understood rock 'n roll. That last tool is one many steel players don't have in their bag.

He was great.

And on it goes.
