Shakespeare didn’t suffer fools gladly (either)

"Yeah, but I like my anonymity around San Francisco. I like being able to go around and really nobody bothers me.”

And I said, “I completely understand that. And if you ever left the house, I’d understand that a lot more.”

Classic, thanks for posting.

Very cool insights there. Funny, the headline makes me think of the first time I met Bear, circa 1987. He didn't suffer fools or foolishness gladly either. The first time I saw Owsley, he was across from MSG outside the Hotel Penta (I didn't know what he looked like, but I knew from his "wearable art," aka jewelry, who he was. He had a gold stealie pendant around his neck). At the time, he was embroiled in a dialogue with someone about his disdain for Shakespeare. I was "foolish" enough to take issue with this position, and he ended the conversation abruptly, and walked off. (Ha ha.)
