Sad day for basketball. Honestly it's about time Self excuses himself. That program is rivaling Louisville with it's problems....except Louisville cleaned house and Kansas is doing all it can to protect itself from getting a black mark.

Hockey fights are usually one on one, not a melee.
LLTD didn't use any racist language, he just called the players out for acting like street hoodlums. What was the guy planning to do with that chair? Hockey players drop the gloves and sticks and go at it with their fists. They also don't carry the brawl into the stands.

i was small talking w/ a ups driver recently -- my shop is on his route so i've become friendly w/ dude.
was talking sports, which i don't have much to talk about, other than basketball (only sport im interested in) -- so i asked if he watches the NBA.
he said "nope, they're a bunch of useless hoodlums and thugs".
idk, i thought that was kinda racist. he watches hockey.
the conversation ended immediately.

I had a very similar conversation with a co worker one night at dinner. At two separate points he went out of of his way to make us know his displeasure in the attitude of NBA stars while professing love for NHL. I felt some implied racism in my interaction as well.

I saw a bunch of people being
I saw a bunch of people being needlessly unkind to other human beings. A few of them displayed some anger management problems.
One of these unkind people picked up a stool (and he appeared to be in the process of) getting ready to hit someone with it, but, thankfully, someone stopped him from doing so.
None of it seemed to be anything we have not seen before at other professional sporting events by people of diverse racial backgrounds (who are all part of one race - the human race).
