RIP Buck Henry

He was funny, smart, noteworthy, all that and more.

Wow. He had his hands on a LOT of really good comedy. Loved him when he was almost a regular SNL host in the early days.

He understood funny.

On it goes.

Cool video- thanks for sharing.  Was not familiar with the guy.

You're probably familiar with his work, tho.

Would you believe . . .

Missed it by thaaaaat much!

And who didn't love good ol' Uncle Roy?

I could be wrong but think he cohosted Saturday Night Live more than anyone--or at least did at a point in time.  Didn't he cohost the night of the first GD-SNL performance in November 1978?. THat night, we were at Jorma solo at Irvine Auditorium on the UPenn campus, came home to the GD on TV.

Rest easy, Uncle Buck

That was neat.

Never heard of Buck Henry, and I will keep an eye out for more of his work.

For those not familiar with the brilliant and hard-working Buck Henry, take a look at what he wrote and adapted for the screen. Films and TV you've seen or heard of.

Seen that video of him at the GD show many times.Always a chuckle. RIP!

Is he the guy that put down Belushi and Aykroyd for snorting TV sets(meaning $ wise) or was that someone else?

Like a boring Bob Newhart kinda a funny in his acting, defiantly a better writer, RIP

Thanks Buck - RIP

Perhaps.  I was born in 1987 so good chance I wasn't.

>>>>I was born in 1987

I didn't know there were millennials here

huh

I guess "Get Smart" wouldn't ring a bell. He wasn't on Full House.
