Has anyone here been before? I got my nephew and his parents tickets for a Xmas gift and looking for family-friendly pointers if anyone has intel to share.
My nephew's under ten, and has developed a taste for guitar and is taking lessons-the first song he learned to play through was Ruby Soho :D I think he'd enjoy wondergrass but honestly IDK lol

This is a very family
This is a very family-friendly venue, it's a professionally run affair and the wook factor is only at about 2 to 3, tops. Dress warm, in layers, the temp could be anywhere from 20 to 60 regardless of the forecast, and may be both on the same day! The lack of lodging on-site is a drag but it's a good festie, as they go. It's on pavement so comfy and warm shoes/boots are a must. No chairs. I recall some random hay bales around but generally it's a standing-all-day affair.
Of course reefer will abound but most folks do pens at the shows these days anyway. Depending on the line-up you can get a half day of skiing in before the good music starts, but that gets expensive with a family...
Hope that helps! I'll almost certainly be there at least one of the days...

Thank you Jackohearts! My
Thank you Jackohearts! My main trepidation was perhaps it might be too wook of a scene for a nine-year old, but they can handle 2-3% and the legal!
