     I realize the vast majority of you are giddy with excitement at the prospect of unseating a duly elected president based on conjecture and the skewed interpretation of phone calls between two world leaders, but allow me to be the first to explain to you that is simply not going to happen.

     Gone are the days Adam Schiff has a leg to stand on as a fair arbiter of the proceedings, that in and of itself may be more consequential than you may realize, the lack of a level playing field may seem advantageous in the near term...but America has an appreciation for a basic sense of fairness more than most cultures, eventually that bill will come due.

     One thing the casual observer may not have a sense of is the criminal activity of the Bidens and the Obama administration...when the truth surfaces, as it always does, the crimes initiated in the Oval Office on January 19th, 2016 which involve the "whistleblower" will shake the consciousness of the republic.

     Did I ever tell you guys the story about wandering around Haight Street, stumbling into a travel agency and winding up in Hawaii?  It was a ten day break between Cal Expo and the Greek, I reappeared at the Greek in souvenir Hawaiian flip flops.  That was the show...the final Grateful Dead Show at the Greek...it was a similar experience to the feeling I got when I was "miracled" to the Ravi Shankar show at the San Francisco Opera House where I still to this day maintain that my intuition tells me someone from Ravi's crew was sent out to the steps of the venue to style me with a ticket, it was surreal, she spoke in a heavy Indian accent saying "Are you looking for a ticket?"  I said "I Am", then she handed me a ticket and disappeared...when I was standing outside the Greek, it was the third day I had stood in the exact same spot, easily the most challenging ticket of the tour, I had made every venue on the tour from sea to shining sea, from Foxboro to Berkeley, it could certainly be referenced as "the last great tour", it was the last camping/vending tour, that in and of itself makes it a watershed moment in the American Zeitgeist, it was also the show I was higher than any other show I've ever been to, I was experimentally high and in the second row right in front of Jerry...only after someone wandered up to me who I think to this day was from the band...asked me if I had face value, which I did [$35 REX FOUNDATION], after I gave him the cash and he gave me the ticket he vanished before I could say thank you.  That was as close as I ever was to Garcia and my consciousness interacting as far as him playing the last show of the last great tour and the last Grateful Dead show at the Greek Theatre ever and him going into raging jams on the fretboard and on occasion connecting in unmistakable eye to eye contact with the kid in the second row who was as high a kid as he had seen in a long time...special evening, the end of an era.

While an impeachable offense occurred, the GOP will likely be successful in their "Three D" strategy - deny, deflect, disregard.

Deny ("No Quid Pro Quo")

Disregard ("While it might be inappropriate​, the President's conduct is not bad enough to overturn the will of the people.")

The House will draw up articles of impeachment, but as the last vestiges of plausible deniability evaporate, the Senate will simply and shamelessly make a stand with "Disregard" and vote to acquit along party lines.   If the Senate can deny outright a confirmation hearing for Merrick Garland and railroad through Bret Kavanaugh's appointment, they will lose no sleep giving Trump and Co. a pass on these allegations.
