Whole bunch of police officers in attendance that night.

heavy feds all shows that tour except for Miami

As an officer in Miami told me that weekend "hell ya'll ain't shooting each other we don't care what you do"

Guys behind me were local and in uniform.  Lined up across the back of the floor.

Jerry giving the raised fist during Touch is pure gold. Seems like Brent was pretty toasty that night... and fired up to boot. He blows the lyrics on We Can Run and its turning into a train wreck but he manages to get it back on track. The end is funny too.. we can run, we can run, we can Fuckin' Ruuun...

Good line from that cop, Tim. It's refreshing once in a while to talk to a cop who sees the big, wider picture.

It was at Charlotte that year where my wife and her friend were trying to get into the venue early. They saw a line of people that

looked like they were being let in early. They moved toward the line and said to a cop, "we're with those people."

The cop goes, "Are you sure, ladies?"

"Yup, we're with them."

Cop: "Those people are all under arrest and are going to jail."

"Um, right, we're not with them."

Learned a lesson on that one!

We Can Run and Take You Home in the same set.

Oooff.

Not sure what these (Video/Audio) re-mixes are officially known as, but really digging them ... and have seen quite a few appear on YouTube in the past couple few weeks.

It's almost like having access to a "partial time machine" ... being able to get a glimpse into the past, but not quite full picture.

word in the lot was they were using newer technology like cameras in the light towers  helping to bust heads and a convenient jail/processing center under the stage. Arrestees reported hearing Phil bombs while incarcerated.

^ nice, thanks!

Can't really take "credit" ... my new routine first thing every morning is to see what's new on YouTube ("Grateful Dead" ... sorted by upload date):

A flashlight would go up the isle and down the row every time someone lit up. Watched  many folks be escorted away throughout the show
