The official Stuff that White People Like list appears to focus on a certain type of "white" person - college educated, urban dwelling liberals. Most self respecting rednecks would scoff at much of the stuff on the list. For that type of "white" person, "You might be a redneck if . . . ." would be the more appropriate list.

Radio stations used to figure out ratings by having a select group of people fill out a journal about what radio stations they listened to. A few years ago they switched to meters that people wear that can tell what radio station you are listening to and automatically records it. The meters killed commercial classical music stations. People used to pretend they listened to classical, but the meters proved that no one actually did.
