This probably should go under the "guilty musical pleasures" thread, but listening to their Homebelly Groove live album (tracks from NYC 9/27/90 and 6/12/92) and they kicked ass. That bass player, Mark White, is really good.
Do those dudes still tour?

Dunno. It became fashionable to rag on them even before Chris Barron had voice issues, but I liked 'em.
I thought I read something about the original lineup getting together (apparently they switched guitarists for a time, but I missed that).
Speaking of which, I once drove Eric Schenkman's grandmother from NYC to NJ in my taxi.
She was one proud Bubbe.

I enjoyed the Spin Doctors in those early years, before all the radio play hub bub. Late night double bills with Blues Traveler. They knew how to play.
Or it just may have been the excellent cocaine in NYC around that same time. Fuzzy.

I always liked them. Great live too. Last time I saw them was a few years ago. Think they still do the occasional gig.

Horrible. They just played
Horrible. They just played a small community town square for free a month or so ago down here. Skipped that one for sure.
In other dated jam band news news, I went to the Blues Traveler / Moe shoe with G love a few weekends ago. Blues traveler was miserable. Absolutely will never see them again (granted it was the first time I'd seen them since 94). A shell of their early 90's self. Chan was more into vaping than playing the shoe. However, the in between jam set was actually a lot of fun with a cumberland blues, isis, folsom prison blues, etc. And Moe's set, which had a bunch of songs that I didn't know, was very tight. Our group all left saying we'd see them again.

Glove was hot and cold. A little ragged but full of life. Some of the newer stuff was kind of meh. I kept thinking he would do well to go hang in mississippi or new orleans for a few months and pick up on some of tht local scene. I will say this, he brought a ton of energy to the show and I give him credit for not walking through the songs. For that matter, popper didn't fully disappoint. I think he needs a new band.
