Well shit. Was stoked to have tickets to ZZ Top next weekend. Never seen them before, but people say they put on a killer show. But just heard that drummer Frank Beard (the dude without the beard) caught pneumonia and they are canceling their four northwest dates on doctor's orders. Hope he gets better soon.
Cheap Trick was scheduled to open. Seen them before and was looking forward to that too. Good live band.

That does suck. I saw them once in '83 in Rochester, The Eliminator tour.
It was a great show, they kicked ass, and their laser light show was like camping, it was intense....

The drummer Frank is a smoker
The drummer Frank is a smoker, maybe this will get him to quit. I love zz top and have seen them many times since 1977. I got tix to see them in Syracuse next month. They can be a psychedelic experience, granted a shorter show than back in their heyday. The 94 tour was out of this world.
