2016 General Election = 62,984,828 (Trump) v. 65,853,514 (Clinton). That's pretty even, but by comparison:
US Civil War = 18.5 million (Union) v. 5.5 million (CSA) + 3.5 million slaves. Over three to one and the CSA was just one tactical mistake at Gettysburg from winning.
I am in North Florida right now and its patently clear that Trumpers and the GOP aren't going away anytime soon. The idea that we can wish them away isn't happening, so we all have to find a way to live together.
