No crisis, but when I went to the store yesterday with avocados on the list, I came back without. They had almost none, and the ones they did have were funky.
I was able to get avocado hot sauce on my chicken tacos, from the roach coach down the block, night before last, no problemo, really! (and the sauce was free)
We didn't buy avocados at New Seasons yesterday because they were going for almost seven bucks for a bag of five. Usually, the same bag would go for about four dollars.
And the upcoming harvest in Michoacan doesn't look promising:
