The real danger is that the storm will stall over the town or just creep along dumping tons of water. The Mississippi is already swollen from months of flooding upriver. We shall see if the pump system installed after Katrina will do its job.
It appears like the cone of uncertainty is moving a little east. We are hopefully on the west side of the cone in my adopted state. This is not looking for the Big Easy.
