It Goes to 11 (JGB Content)

Hey, WALSTIB!

Thanks for posting. I was wondering what shoe it was.

And, how fucking awesome is it that we are getting ‘93 JGB?!?!?

...I’m saying that we are super lucky. I have a friend that says ‘93 was the best year for Jerry band. Same friend got sick of hearing Catfish John, and did JGB tour/shows more than GD tour. Complete Jerry head type. If anybody else told me, I wouldn’t have believed them. I ‘m all  in on this one.

(((((‘93 JGB)))))

Flame away, haters!!cheeky

93 seems suspect however it's always a good setlist when you see He Ain’t Give You None & When The Hunter Gets Captured By The Game

Jerry himself could be suspect in '93 but the band was tight as a drumhead in that era, so when Jerry was feeling good '93 was an excellent time to be at a JGB show.

who was drumming in '93?

just checked. Kemper, good. I did not care for the fellow who replaced him.

Provy Civic Centah' dude!

"I have a friend that says ‘93 was the best year for Jerry band."

I suggest that your friend dive into the years 1976 through 1978.

The band played great in the post coma years, but it was repetitive and lacking in lengthy leads.

The last time I saw Garcia was on this tour.  After a few GD spring shows I thought maybe a couple Jerry shows would bring me back.  Wrong again...

I'm not sure if I've ever heard a complete swing and a miss as someone saying that '93 JGB was best'.

I went to Buffalo 11-5-93 my only Jerry Band show. Loved it but I also liked that Hawaiian steel guitar sound/effects Jerry used Iin that era..used during the Shining Star or Eyes of the Maker solos.

It’s kind of amazing how much Jerry lives on in  all of our lives

Profoundly amazing

Gotta remember there are lots of blessings in life

both in the bright light and perhaps sometimes light emanating from the shadows

I’m a bit extra emotional today as I  just had my fifth kid graduate high school so my 20 year run at Homestead is over

And one just graduated college and got a pretty good job that’s going to lead to a great career and hopefully a great life

long live LOVE

Looking forward to this one. These years were the only Garcia I knew and I’ll take all I can get!
