21-year-old singer from a black metal band was arrested for a string of arsons at churches in Louisiana:

While a lot of heavy metal bands sing about Satan, death, and destruction for shock value and entertainment purposes only, some of these black metal bands take it to the extreme and actually burn down churches and engage in other truly destructive forms of expression.

If you haven't read the book
If you haven't read the book Lords of Chaos, you must. There's a movie out now, but it has been pretty panned. Great read. It is interesting, I have met quite a few people recently who are into the Odinist thing, although I don't think they are on the racist side. I also know a lot of people into that type of music and I was a little thrown about how easily people can accept music they understand to be "NSBM" = National Socialist Black Metal. I mean, I listen to music played by a lot of people who've done bad things and who are generally bad people, and I can totally separate the artist from the art, but I think I draw the line at any genre that actually has "National Socialist" in the genre name unless is also includes "NO" or "ANTI" or "FUCK OFF".
