Was watching the game, horrific!

One of the best Blazer fan sites, Blazersedge, has a wonderful history of collecting contributions from fans and sending underprivileged kids to go to see a game in person every year.  Started off with a hundred tickets several years ago, but tonights game was this years Blazeredge game, sending a record 2,245 kids and chaperones (coaches, teachers, caregivers, etc).  It really breaks my heart that they witnessed Nurk go down in person, that's got to be a heartbreaker, even if we did win in double overtime and clinch a playoff spot...

jailblazers is so 1990. i agree about the alarming thread title! 

as a longtime fan, it was crushing to see that injury last night. compound fracture of tibia and fibula.

if they only would've locked in the win in the first OT, it wouldn't have happened. we really need him in the playoffs.
