So, it looks like this project is in development after being put on ice for quite some time.  Book was an excellent an I'm looking forward to the series.

Same thing happened to The Alienist, took years to develop but with the streaming services allowing for 8-12 episodic years it happened, as far as I know I'm in the minority of those who like Alienist, i look for to Devil In The White City great read and I'm a sucker for historic novels

You really like the book!

He's a talented author. Dead Wake and In the Garden of Beasts: Love, Terror, and an American Family in Hitler's Berlin are great reads too.

^ Nice I'll have to check some of those out.  He wrote Isaac's Storm too about the major hurricane to hit Galveston, TX in I believe the year 1900.
