Should be Drew Brees and Co beating them, but I hope LA does. Bummer for Saints fans with the SB so close to them in Atlanta.
Not a fan of Los Angeles in general, but I kinda like the new energy of the coach. He woke up teams around the NFL with his offensive schemes early on.
And ANYBODY but the Pats. I remember Giants fans chanting "18 and 1!" upon leaving SB 42. Pats fans were so arrogant before the game, thinking they'd be 19-0.
Anti pats...like most...and a dear friend is a Rams diehard...so, im rootin for them...just really hoping for good game...but, when ya think about it..pats dont play anything but crazy exciting SB s...gotta give em that
The guy that's killed the Vegas books to the tune of $25 million over the last two World Series and last year's Super Bowl has 3 separate bets in different casinos for $3.8 million on the Rams moneyline. Apparently the guy's more of a UFC sharp but went on an incredible run in the 2017 World Series that stretched into the 2018 World Series, capped by a $12 million win on the Eagles in last year's Super Bowl.
>>>>Saints had the ball first in OT, they should have taken care of business...they didn't.
They did take care of business, just not on their first possession. I guess it's about timing, huh? Most folks who saw it agree they got royally screwed.
Agreed Brady has had an incredible career and will go down as one of, if not the best, ever.
Both teams are there because they are superbly coached. Both teams are always so well prepared and both are so precise.
Pats have the experience advantage which is big, and they have the QB who won't be overwhelmed by the moment, but Goff has shown that he can do what's expected, and again, the Rams are so well coached on both offense & defense.
Who makes the one big mistake will likely decide it, and making a big mistake against the Patriots in a big game is not wise.
I'll be mildly rooting for the Patriots. I have nothing against them, I always admire true greatness, and the west coast Rams fans are now starting to come out of hibernation.
It's hard for me to dislike this Rams team, but as a fan of the 49ers, who can't quite turn that corner that the Rams ripped through a year ago, I'd rather not have to deal with all the SoCalers here in the BA boasting around.
But mostly I hope it's a good & fair game that is won on the field and not in a replay booth or by a sketchy yellow hanky.
I hope SUH crushes TB12 in the 1st quarter. Accidentally shattering his passing arm and ending his NFL career!!!!!
So we can have other AFC teams have a chance to play in the SB.
So tired of the Pats... FUCKING HATE THEM!!!!! Every since that BULLSHIT TUCK RULE CALL THAT STARTED THIS ALL..... before that I didn't even know they where a NFL team they where like the Browns....
Go Rams, beat the New England Trumps, I got a bunch numbers on $50 a sq board and on a $5 a sq board. I started the day out with a $2000 winner on a $5 scratcher in Florida. Whether I win on the boards or not, I am ahead. I hit for 600 and 500 a couple times, 5x$400 was real cool.
Being a bills fan, my hate for the patsies is undeniable. Today I find out my former favorite brother in law is rooting for the pats. He has gone over to the dark side of fox news and trump.
The pass inference rules interpretation in Pro Football for the last 28 years indicate that for interference to be called, the pass thrown has to be definitively "catchable".
That pass was thrown too hard, off-line & out of bounds. I saw the play once & realized this is new to many..
Prior to 1990 any football thrown in the same state as Jerry Rice was playing in that day or night - was considered catchable.
they were supposed to play sweet victory from spongebob. instead of just outright not playing it, they played the intro to it, and then it went into some pop rap number. i doubt anyone here really cares about a song from spongebob squarepants but the leadup to this has been huge...a massive petition made to get it put in, rumors swirling on the net for weeks, it seemed like a sure thing, and then they just pulled this kinda april fools joke where it seemed like they were gonna play it but then just went back to the mediocre hip hop. lame. thanks obama.

That doesn't mean they were the BEST team this year, but they finished as the winner. And that's what counts.

could you imagine getting invited to play one of the biggest pop culture sets of music all year and then afterwards are just ruthlessly berated because you didnt play a song from spongebob squarepants? i love the internet.

Some former Louisiana State Attorney affiliated private lawyer is suing the NFL for fraud.
